Description

When rug weaving flourished in Persia, Kashan was renowned as one of the finest weaving centers in the east. Kashan rugs are woven by highly experienced rug weavers in workshops in the city of Kashan.

The intricate floral design in a beautiful blend of red, blue, brown, green, peach, and beige colors added to the grandeur of this antique Persian museum rug. Measuring 10’8″ x 14’3″ with a medium pile thickness of 1/3″-3/8″, this 80-90-year-old masterpiece took approximately 652 days of handknotting at approx. 256 KPSI. The cotton foundation and 100% wool pile make this rug durable and long-lasting.

This rug is a perfect fit for large rooms. Pair it with modern furniture to create an eye-catching design statement.
