The rug is hand-knotted in 100% wool with a cotton foundation. The fibers are hand-spun into yarn which is then hand-knotted at 324 KPSI into the final piece you see here.This high piled rug took approximately 1371 days to complete. Aged around 40-50 years old, it reflects the highest level of craftsmanship available.
